Decker Park Brighton

Brighton Playground

Decker Park, Flinders Pde, Brighton.

This Brighton Playground is truly a park by the sea, and if you can stop your little Brisbane Kids from wanting to explore the shallows on a low tide, then you will find a delightful place to play and explore.

Decker Park Brighton Playground The Fun

As with most beachside playgrounds it has a sandy section, unusual sand and play structures and a unique play sculpture that takes on the guise of a boat. It warrants a lot of imaginery play from Brisbane kids and opportunities for games of tag and hide and seek.

This Brighton Playground is built in traditional fort style with bridges, slippery dips and swings, and plenty of room to run around. It isn’t so high off the ground that it is a problem for toddlers, yet not so small that it isn’t fun for other Brisbane Kids. You could also bring the kids bikes or roller blades and head up along the esplanade which takes you along the foreshore.

Decker Park Brighton Playground The Facts

We like it because it has ample shade, toilets, bbq facilities, parking and a fenced dog park right next door.  Not Fenced. 25th Avenue Brighton. More pictures of this Brighton playground and other Brisbane playgrounds on the Brisbane Kids Facebook Page

You will find this Brighton Playground to be right near the water as well as fishing spots perfect for Brisbane Kids.  It is a perfect picnic destination. There is also a nearby playground called Lower Moora Park with numerous BBQ facilities, a jetty for fishing and one of Brisbane’s Best Parks
