Dorrington Park otherwise known as the Enchanted Forest is a well known Ashgrove park and playground not least for its leafy location and ideal for playground play anytime of year.

There are not many Ashgrove parks that can boast musical toad stools on top of all the regular draw cards like slides, swings, climbing nets and fort style constructions.

This lovely ashgrove park boasts a BBQ, tables and shelter with toilets a short distance away. It is ideal for a picnic and even some ball games because it is attached to a nice field perfect for a spot of cricket. It is right around the corner from a BP service station too, incase you forget anything or wish to pick up some snacks on the way. This Ashgrove park is not well signed so as you turn into Frasers Rd, just keep an eye out for a lane way on your left hand side just before a group of shops. It is Partly Fenced. As far as playground go, this Ashgrove Park is a small enough park to keep an eye on your kids but not so small as to hold no interest. We especially like the amount of shade and the atmosphere that creates. The closest playground to this one would probably be Anzac Park at Toowong. You are going to love this little bit of the Enchanted Forest right in the middle of Ashgrove.
