Lower Moora Park, Shorncliffe
This is more than just a fabulous playground, it is day trip material for some Free Fun for Kids. Aside from the the play equipment, there is a long and exciting Jetty (fairly child friendly- no massive gaps), heaps and heaps of tables and numerous generously sized BBQs. Toilets are well maintained and there are beautiful shady trees all around. The only downside is the lack of nearby parking, Only about 30 or so spots and then you will need to park up the hill, which could be an adventure in itself. There also isnt any cafe or takeaway too close by so either bring some food or be prepared for a walk (There is one cafe on the top of the hill).The best part- This playground is right on the water, with calm lapping ocean and little shells dotted everywhere.
