Pelican Park Clontarf

The Woody Point Park is a winner for locals and tourists despite the playground itself not being of considerable WOW status according to Brisbane Kids. There is a whole stretch of beach, playgrounds, grass as well as a long jetty that runs along the stretch of Hornibrook Esplanade. The playgrounds are decent for some occupation over a takeaway meal but nothing spectacular.

There are, however, plenty of other diversions, like the beach, frequent kite flying and a jetty for some good old fashioned fishing- lots to do with your Brisbane Kids. One word of advice, there does seem to be some spots of green ant nests, so if you should miss out on a table, I would make certain to check for nest prior to pulling out the picnic blanket. There are ample toilets, Bbqs and takeaway shops. Woody Point Park is a popular spot for families across Brisbane. There are 2 playgrounds and both are fenced.
