Rafting Ground Reserve, Moggil Rd, Pullenvale/Brookfield.
Yet another lovely free activity for Kids in Brisbane. (about 5 min heading out of Kenmore on Moggill rd as you drive towards Bellbowrie) It has a great nature inspired atmosphere and plenty of space to play and explore for your adventurous Brisbane Kid. It has 2 BBQ areas with electric hotplates and 3 undercover table areas (two have 1 table, the other has 3 tables which would be great for a party. There are also timber picnic areas scattered through the open reserve area. There are toilets with wheelchair access. The park looks fairly new or recently upgraded. The playground has swings, a slide, tunnels, cargo net to climb and a mini pretend cafe. There is a cute koala and kangaroo art work on the playground that the kids can poke their heads thru for a cute photo too. It has vast open space to explore behind the main playground which is often filled with ducks and the scattered picnic tables kind of makes you feel like you are wondering thru an enchanted forest or a fairy tale.
