Clontarf Kite Flying Days
Brisbane Kids can look forward to this regular and free event on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from around noon to 4pm. This is the type of sport where the weather needs to be agreeable to take this into consideration before you commit to any lengthy drive. You can bring your own kite, check out the workshops on how to make a kite, or simply enjoy the relaxing kite flying atmosphere. Located at Pelican Park, Hornibrook Esp, Clontarf.

There is a playground nearby for younger brisbane kids and a fish n chip shop and bakery right across the road. This is a lovely destination in itself, without the kite flying, but it is made extra special by this down to earth fun, perfect for Brisbane Kids and Brisbane Parents who want to experience something a little different.
