Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition
Queensland Performing Arts Centre presents Royal New Zealand Ballet in Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition.
Angelina Ballerina is returning to Australia as she prepares to audition for the Camembert Academy of Performing Arts. You will be gifted with the performances of of dancers performing to a recorded arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s music. With choreography (Antony Dawson), sets (Al Riches) and costumes (Wizzy Shawyer) from the English National Ballet.
Angelina is prepared for her big audition by Miss Lilly. Angelina is very excited but also a little anxious about the chance that she may have to leave her home and Alice behind. Angelina is blessed to meet lots of new friends during her audition at the Camembert Agency who teach her many new ways of dancing. She learns techniques from hip hop to jazz!
So will Angelina win her audition!? Will her life change forever? you will have to go along to see the story unfold for yourself!
Performed by the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition is the perfect introduction for children to the magical world of ballet.
