Brisbane Playgroup: Nudgee Knee Highs
The Nudgee Knee High Playgroup has been running for over 18 years and is looking for new members to join in 2012! This Playgroup is definitely not just for the kids – the friendships formed and support shared amongst parents is what makes this Playgroup great. The kids are well looked after though – the Playgroup has a good selection of indoor and outdoor toys and other resources.
Session: Fridays 9.30am – 11.30am
Location: Banyo Presbyterian Church. Cnr St Vincent’s Road and Paradise Street, Banyo, except the 4th Friday each month when we meet at a nominated park/play area.
Session Fee: The first two sessions are free. Then it is $3.00 per family.
Extra Information: Most of our sessions are held in the church grounds, so do not forget hat/s sunscreen and water bottles. We have a good play area set up for babies and toddlers. This area is well covered with a UV shade sail and large rubber mats on the ground. Parent’s chairs are set up in this area and are in the cool of the shade. Bring morning tea for your little ones – tea and coffee are provided for the parents! Our play sessions/activities are set-up and run by all parents/carers and are fairly informal. When setting up and packing up we encourage ALL to ‘pitch-in’.
