This Brisbane event is a past event
The team at BrisBricks are busy building towards their big LEGO® Fan Expo for the year on October 5-7. Now in its seventh year and growing, the annual expo BrisBricks organises on Brisbane’s south is set to pack the Sleeman Sports Complex at Chandler full of LEGO awesome.
BrisBricks LEGO Fan Expos have welcomed tens of thousands of patrons over the years to be amazed and excited by the visually stunning exhibits and this year is looking even better. Our energetic team of clever builders and friendly volunteers freely donate their time, displaying their own creations and personal collections that will take children and adults on a magical journey through the ages of LEGO.
There will be interactive displays, build tables, and a very large train layout covering scenes from across Queensland; from the rainforest in the Far North, Iconic Brisbane buildings, and outback scenery.
The BrisBricks Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) community in South East QLD is a not for profit club that has proudly supported many local children’s charities over the years. Long term BrisBricks club member, Russell Bates, said: “The hundreds of hours spent creating a display for a BrisBricks’ Expo is amply rewarded by the smiles on the thousands of appreciative fans of all ages”.
Due to its popularity from previous years, this year Brisricks are having two 90-minute Autism & Sensory Sessions, one on Sunday and one on Monday morning, where the sound, movement, and lighting of the displays are adjusted to help the comfort of those LEGO fans with sensory issues.
