Dinosaur Party
Twirl, stomp, and roar into the Queensland Museum for a prehistoric celebration of movement at their rompin’, stompin’ Dinosaur Party these school holidays!
In this free 45-minute children’s workshop, the talented team at Queensland Ballet will guide participants on a dino-dancing journey filled with movement and prehistoric flair.
Led by Queensland Ballet teaching artists, children will delve into the world of movement as a means of expression and storytelling, all while rompin’, stompin’, and roarin’!
This event requires tickets, with limited availability of 25 per session to ensure an enjoyable experience, thus registrations are necessary.
The Dinosaur Party holiday program commemorates the Dinosaurs Unearthed: Explore Prehistoric Queensland exhibition, showcasing Queensland’s unique dinosaurs, massive marine reptiles, colossal megafauna, cutting-edge paleo technology, and pioneering research conducted by the museum’s own scientists.

When: Monday 8 April, Tuesday 9 April, Thursday 11 April & Friday 12 April. Daily session times: 10am – 10:45am & 11:30am – 12:15pm. Reccomended ages: Session one: 2 to 5 years & Session two: 6 to 12 years.
