Lunar New Year Festival – 2025
The Hội Chợ Tết (Lunar New Year Festival) is the largest cultural celebration of the Vietnamese community, heralding the start of the Lunar New Year and the arrival of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
Over two exciting days, the festival comes alive with activities for all ages. Enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine from a variety of food stalls, browse informative booths, and experience lion dances, firecrackers, fireworks, and live performances by local musicians and artists.
The festival also features a traditional costume parade, martial arts demonstrations, calligraphy displays, folk games, and a special photo booth to capture lasting memories. A dedicated fun-ride area ensures children have plenty of entertainment.
Organised annually by the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Queensland Chapter, Hội Chợ Tết is a vibrant celebration of Vietnamese culture that fosters community connection and joy.
This event is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council.
