Martin’s Studio: Imagine, Play, Create

Looking for fun and free activities for kids and parents alike? Visit Martin’s art studio at Pine Rivers Art Gallery and explore the wonderful world of local artist Martin Edge through kid’s craft and play.

There are plenty of activities to explore! At Martin’s studio you will be able to:

  • play dress up and explore an interactive space inspired by Martin’s real-life art studio.
  • draw a self-portrait and display it on the gallery wall with a decorative magnet frame.
  • use pencils, markers and crayons to colour in illustrations drawn by Martin.
  • build your own favourite object from the fun craft materials and add it to the studio shelf.
  • explore the exhibition with our art investigator booklet and scavenger hunt.
  • use your phone or the gallery iPad to activate Martin’s augmented reality artwork.

Martin’s art studio is a self-paced activity zone available during the gallery’s opening hours.

Martin’s Studio: Imagine, Play, Create

  • When: 16 December 2023- 16 March 2024. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm. 
  • Where: Pine Rivers Art Gallery, 130 – 134 Gympie Road, Strathpine
  • Cost: Free- no bookings required.
