Pine Rivers Model Train and Hobby Show 2024
For over two decades, the Railway Modellers Club of Queensland (Men’s Shed) has proudly hosted its annual Model Train and Hobby Expo. This year promises to be the biggest yet, with more than 45 exhibits on display. The event will cater to both families and children, as well as dedicated hobbyists. Visitors can marvel at passenger and freight trains from around the world, travelling through intricately designed miniature cities, towns, tunnels, bridges, and scenic landscapes.
In addition to showcasing a diverse range of model railway layouts, the Expo will feature a variety of shops offering both new and pre-loved items, demonstrations of modelling techniques, Lego displays, and beloved characters like Thomas the Tank Engine. Children will also have the chance to take control of model trains. While the primary focus is on model railways, other hobbies such as miniature figures, radio-controlled models, boats, wargaming, and dollhouses will also be represented.
A canteen and café will be available for refreshments throughout the event.
