DESCRIPTION:Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour at Redcliffe Art Gallery\nChildren and families can enjoy a variety of hands-on\, creative activities at Redcliffe Art Gallery as part of the free Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour program\, presented by Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). This exciting initiative features art-making experiences developed in collaboration with artists from across Asia and the Pacific\, encouraging young visitors to explore different cultural perspectives through creativity. \nNo bookings are required\, and all activities are free to attend. Redcliffe Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday\, 10am to 4pm. \nChildren can engage in activities such as designing intricate patterns inspired by Saudi Arabian and Palestinian artist Dana Awartani\, drawing imaginative monsters with Malaysian artist Harold Egn Eswar\, and reflecting on their dreams for the future through a project by Cambodian artist Yim Maline. Join in for a day of kids activities\, talks\, tours\, lifelong learning and sporting activities the whole family can enjoy. \nUQ’s beloved celebration of books is brought to you by Alumni Friends and many dedicated volunteers who have been busily sorting community donations.
