Running on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April\, the event promises an exciting and educational experience for all ages. \nBringing together passionate breeders\, handlers and wildlife experts from across North and South Brisbane\, the festival showcases an incredible lineup of reptiles\, exotic pets\, and unique wildlife displays. Visitors can explore interactive reptile and pet exhibits\, enjoy engaging wildlife talks\, and experience hands-on encounters including popular puppy cuddle sessions\, alongside appearances from cats and dogs. \nA highlight of the weekend is the lineup of special guests and live demonstrations\, featuring Danny Brown\, also known as Gecko Dan\, hosting a book launch and signing\, as well as Scott Carson from Carso’s Critters delivering thrilling venomous snake shows. Those planning to purchase a reptile are reminded to have a current Queensland Recreational Wildlife Permit ready\, either printed or saved on their mobile device. \nDesigned as a fun\, family-friendly event\, the festival invites the community to meet the animals\, learn from experts and enjoy a full weekend immersed in the fascinating world of reptiles and wildlife. \nThe Event is proud to support the ‘Companion Card” program. DESCRIPTION:Miniature Railway Public Day – Nambour\nVisitors can enjoy a ride on the miniature railway in Nambour\, with trains powered by steam\, battery\, and petrol engines traveling nearly 1 km of track through the park.\nTrain rides are available every fourth Sunday of the month. \nVolunteers bring their own miniature locomotives to the track to allow the public to ride on the trains. The Club also owns steam and electric locomotives and many passenger carriages. \nDrinks and a sausage sizzle are available\, making it a great day out for little train enthusiasts.
