Gather your mates and cheer on the Socceroos at the World Cup Live Site at South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt\, located beside the Brisbane Sign. \nThe Live Site will screen every Socceroos match\, along with select matches scheduled immediately before and after Australian fixtures. Entry is free\, with the site operating on a first come\, first served basis. DESCRIPTION:Valley Fest (Lockyer) 2026\nValley Fest 2026 invites the community to enjoy a fabulous family day out in the Lockyer Valley\, a scenic and easy drive from Brisbane\, perfect for a relaxed day trip. Set in Gatton\, this free event brings together live music and entertainment alongside a diverse range of food vendors\, market stalls\, and community information displays. \nFamilies are encouraged to get involved in a variety of free activities and games\, with plenty of opportunities for all ages to join in the fun. One of the highlights of the day will be the search for the 2026 Watermelon Eating Champion\, adding a playful and competitive twist to the festivities. \nAffordable amusement wristbands will be available\, offering unlimited access to rides and amusements\, with standard age and height restrictions applying. Wristbands can be purchased in advance from the Lockyer Community Centre reception or on the day at the event. This much-loved annual event is a vibrant celebration of all things motoring\, past\, present and future\, and this year it’s bigger than ever with more cars\, more food\, more kids’ entertainment and more exhibitors than before. \nRunning from 10am to 3pm\, RACQ MotorFest offers a full day of entertainment for the whole family. Visitors can explore an incredible array of prestige\, vintage\, unique and collector vehicles\, alongside the latest in vehicle and transport technology in the RACQ Future Zone. \nThere’s plenty beyond the car displays too. Roving entertainment\, amusement rides and face painting are all included with entry\, plus RACQ and partner trade stalls packed with competitions and giveaways. The kids will be kept busy all day\, while motoring fans of every kind will find plenty to see and explore. \nThe majority of MotorFest is set on bitumen\, making it easily accessible by wheelchair.
