This exciting initiative features art-making experiences developed in collaboration with artists from across Asia and the Pacific\, encouraging young visitors to explore different cultural perspectives through creativity. \nNo bookings are required\, and all activities are free to attend. Redcliffe Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday\, 10am to 4pm. \nChildren can engage in activities such as designing intricate patterns inspired by Saudi Arabian and Palestinian artist Dana Awartani\, drawing imaginative monsters with Malaysian artist Harold Egn Eswar\, and reflecting on their dreams for the future through a project by Cambodian artist Yim Maline. The competition pits the world’s best against one another\, champion against champion\, battling it out for Asia-Pacific’s top titles. The competition itself involves in a series of tests of agility\, speed and skill\, high in the canopy of the trees. The event culminates in the Masters’ Challenge on Sunday 25 May from which the 2025 champions will emerge. \nGet the whole family on down to Capalaba Regional Park to watch the action. The children will not only get to meet a bunch of cool arborists that climb trees for a living but also have a go at a series of ‘Tree Kids’ activities for themselves.
