DESCRIPTION:Gold Coast Kiwi Festival\n\nThe Gold Coast Kiwi Festival invites the community to enjoy an afternoon and evening celebrating Aotearoa and the Pacific at its very first event in Southport. Held in tribute to Waitangi\, the festival brings together music\, dance and community spirit for a shared cultural celebration. \nExperience the mana\, rhythm and soul of New Zealand through a full program of free live entertainment\, showcasing Kiwi and Polynesian culture. The afternoon begins with Rik A Shay\, featuring Ricky J and Shay Simpson\, a duo known for their strong harmonies and crowd-pleasing setlist. \nTe Puna Mataatahi\, the Kapa Haka group from Keebra Park State High School led by Dean Harawira\, will present a powerful performance of haka and waiata.
