From libraries\, the Redland Performing Arts Centre and Redland Art Gallery to the Redlands IndigiScapes Centre\, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved. Visitors can enjoy festive workshops\, inspiring exhibitions\, and nature-based adventures designed to bring joy and connection during the holidays. \nExplore more of Redlands Coast\nWhile celebrating the festive season\, locals and visitors alike are encouraged to support small businesses by dining at local cafes and restaurants\, exploring wineries and breweries\, or ticking off Christmas shopping lists at boutique stores. With its mix of scenic coastal spots and outdoor adventures\, there’s something to enjoy around every corner of Redlands Coast. \nChristmas Hub featuring Santa’s Hotline\nThe Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre at 50 Middle Street\, Cleveland\, will transform into a Christmas hub. From late November until Christmas Eve\, families can stop by to meet the friendly visitor team\, collect a copy of the Christmas program\, and make a special call to Santa in the festive phone booth.\nChildren can pick up the phone to hear Santa’s warm voice and leave him a message sharing their Christmas wishes and good deeds from the year. \nChristmas lighting displays\nRedlands Coast will sparkle with festive light installations\, creating the perfect backdrop for family photos and Christmas memories. Magical lighting displays will illuminate several locations across the city\, including: \n\nRaby Bay Harbour Park (festoon and tree lights)\nWellington Point Village Green (giant present)\nCleveland Point (giant 2D star)\nCapalaba Youth Plaza (giant 2D Christmas tree)\nStradbroke Street\, Redland Bay (illuminated poincianas)\n\nRedlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree\nThe much-loved Redlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree will once again illuminate Raby Bay Harbour Park across two magical nights\, marking the official launch of the Christmas on Redlands Coast festive season. This free community celebration will feature live Christmas carols performed by talented local artists\, sparkling lighting displays\, roving performers\, children’s rides and activities\, market stalls\, and an array of delicious food trucks. Families can enjoy free Santa photos and a Christmas movie under the stars\, creating the perfect festive evening. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or chairs and settle in for a joyful night filled with music\, laughter\, and the spirit of Christmas\n \nFree Christmas Carousel at Raby Bay Harbour Park\nFamilies can enjoy a free Christmas carousel at Raby Bay Harbour Park\, proudly presented by Redland City Council and sponsored by Raby Bay Harbour. The enchanting ride will operate daily from late November through early December\, offering a delightful experience for children and adults alike. No bookings are required – just come along and enjoy the magic. \nChristmas Augmented Reality Experience\nA touch of digital magic arrives this Christmas with a special augmented reality trail across Redlands Coast. By downloading the CreativiTek app and scanning festive decals\, visitors can watch Santa come to life in various locations.
