The afternoon begins with Rik A Shay\, featuring Ricky J and Shay Simpson\, a duo known for their strong harmonies and crowd-pleasing setlist. \nTe Puna Mataatahi\, the Kapa Haka group from Keebra Park State High School led by Dean Harawira\, will present a powerful performance of haka and waiata. Entertainment includes lion and dragon dancers\, Kizuna drummers and a range of cultural performances throughout the precinct. \nFamilies can take part in a variety of hands-on kids’ activities\, including lotus origami making\, Chinese stamp making\, woodblock printing\, Chinese name writing\, face painting and diabolo playing.
