DESCRIPTION:Gold Coast Kiwi Festival\n\nThe Gold Coast Kiwi Festival invites the community to enjoy an afternoon and evening celebrating Aotearoa and the Pacific at its very first event in Southport. Held in tribute to Waitangi\, the festival brings together music\, dance and community spirit for a shared cultural celebration. \nExperience the mana\, rhythm and soul of New Zealand through a full program of free live entertainment\, showcasing Kiwi and Polynesian culture. The afternoon begins with Rik A Shay\, featuring Ricky J and Shay Simpson\, a duo known for their strong harmonies and crowd-pleasing setlist. \nTe Puna Mataatahi\, the Kapa Haka group from Keebra Park State High School led by Dean Harawira\, will present a powerful performance of haka and waiata. The group recently made history as the first Australian school to perform on the Māori stage at ASB Polyfest. \nHeilani Polynesian School of Arts will celebrate 20 years of Pacific performance with a journey through New Zealand\, Hawaii and Tahiti\, featuring striking costume changes and interactive audience moments. \nThe evening will conclude with Kiwi Groove\, as Robbie Flay and his band deliver a 100 per cent live performance of New Zealand music\, RnB and reggae to sing and dance along to. \nFamilies\, friends and the wider community are encouraged to come together and help make the inaugural Gold Coast Kiwi Festival a celebration to remember.  \n\n\n\n\nGold Coast Kiwi Festival event details \nWhen: Saturday 7th February\, 3pm – 11pm \nWhere: CSi Club Southport\, 154a Scarborough Street\, Southport 4215 \nCost: Free \nMore information: Gold Coast Kiwi Festival \n\n\n\n\n\n
