DESCRIPTION:Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour at Redcliffe Art Gallery\nChildren and families can enjoy a variety of hands-on\, creative activities at Redcliffe Art Gallery as part of the free Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour program\, presented by Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). This exciting initiative features art-making experiences developed in collaboration with artists from across Asia and the Pacific\, encouraging young visitors to explore different cultural perspectives through creativity. \nNo bookings are required\, and all activities are free to attend. Redcliffe Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday\, 10am to 4pm. \nChildren can engage in activities such as designing intricate patterns inspired by Saudi Arabian and Palestinian artist Dana Awartani\, drawing imaginative monsters with Malaysian artist Harold Egn Eswar\, and reflecting on their dreams for the future through a project by Cambodian artist Yim Maline. DESCRIPTION:RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre Sunday Open Days\nShowcasing the incredible history of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF)\, the Heritage Centre has displays that include Sabre and Mirage fighter jets\, a flawless WWII Jeep\, Sioux and Iroquois helicopters and a Caribou airlifter. The museum pays particular attention to the history of aviation at the RAAF Amberley base and the RAAF’s role in South East Queensland in war and peace time. The ever-growing historical collection is housed in two aircraft hangars at the RAAF Amberley base and does change from time to time\, as exhibits are restored and brought in or returned after a loan period. \nA group of passionate reservists and volunteers are on hand to guide visitors through the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre’s displays\, passing on fascinating stories and a priceless educational experience with every visit. Every single one of these enthusiasts is involved in the research\, restoration and display of the aircraft and the items that make up the collection. One of the best things about the displays at the Heritage Centre is that you can touch almost everything. There’s even the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of an F-111. Photos are always welcome and highly encouraged within the display hangars\, so your Brisbane Kids can capture their aviation adventures when you visit. \nThe RAAF Amberley Heritage Centre is open 9am to 3pm\, Tuesdays\, Thursdays\, and the third Sunday of every month (excluding December). \nEntry requirements:\nAmberley Heritage Centre is located on RAAF Base Amberley. On arrival at the front gate\, visitors will met by one of the Heritage Centre team members. \nVisitors must bring: \n\nCopy of Online Base Induction completion email\nReservation confirmation\nPhotographic identification as recorded on your reservation confirmation (Photos of identification documents are not accepted).\n\nPets\, alcohol and firearms are prohibited on base. Registered assistance dogs are permitted upon application. \nPhotography is only permitted inside Heritage Centre precinct. \nRAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre Sunday Open Days\nWhen: The third Sunday of each month.  \nWhere: RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre\, Amberley \nCost: free.
