Local artists provide the soundtrack with live performances each week\, offering relaxed and groovy tunes that will have visitors dancing in and out of the stalls. \nThe fair features a colorful atmosphere perfect for a family day out\, with kids’ activities including a balloon artist\, roaming entertainment\, and themed occasions. Owned and operated by the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce\, the Caloundra Street Fair is an excellent way to support local businesses. It’s designed to enliven the main street and foster the growth of local small and family businesses. DESCRIPTION:Miniature Railway Public Day – Nambour\nVisitors can enjoy a ride on the miniature railway in Nambour\, with trains powered by steam\, battery\, and petrol engines traveling nearly 1 km of track through the park.\nTrain rides are available every fourth Sunday of the month. \nVolunteers bring their own miniature locomotives to the track to allow the public to ride on the trains. The Club also owns steam and electric locomotives and many passenger carriages. \nDrinks and a sausage sizzle are available\, making it a great day out for little train enthusiasts. DESCRIPTION:Kenilworth Family Fun Day 2026\nThe Kenilworth Family Fun Day is a free community event held at the Kenilworth Showgrounds in the heart of the Mary Valley. This celebration focuses on creative arts and local culture\, offering families a chance to enjoy a wide range of hands on activities and performances. The fun kicks off at 9 am and provides a welcoming atmosphere for all ages to soak in the local spirit while enjoying the beautiful country surroundings. \nVisitors can look forward to a diverse line up of live music and entertainment. Highlights include performances by the Junior Burger Band and Mama Buluka\, an energetic group showcasing West African music and dance traditions. There are also plenty of roving entertainers to keep the kids smiling\, such as stilt walkers\, the Bubble Fairy\, and lively puppet shows that bring laughter to the crowds throughout the day. \nCreativity is at the centre of the event with numerous workshops and interactive stalls. Children can try their hand at making their own puppets\, creating bush critters\, or building a rainforest in a jar with local authors and educators. The event also hosts an art exhibition and various craft projects led by community groups\, ensuring there is something to inspire everyone who attends. \nIn addition to the arts\, the day features educational displays from environmental organisations\, wildlife volunteers\, and emergency services.
