DESCRIPTION:Head along to Kings Beach Amphitheatre this July 2026 for Picnic on Kings\, an exciting family festival on the Sunshine Coast near Brisbane. Kids will love the Bluey and Bingo live experience\, interactive cooking\, petting zoo\, and food trucks\, making this a memorable weekend seaside outing for parents and children alike. \nPicnic on Kings @ Sunshine Coast\nPicnic on Kings returns to the Kings Beach Amphitheatre as part of the opening weekend of The Curated Plate Food and Drink Festival\, transforming one of Caloundra’s favourite spots into a giant family picnic packed with fresh local food\, kids’ activities\, and the Bluey and Bingo Live Interactive Experience. \nFamilies are encouraged to bring a blanket\, roll out the picnic rug\, and settle in for a full day of fun by the sea. The event is set up across two zones: a ticketed stage show and a free activation zone. \nStage Show (Ticketed)\nTickets are $16.50 general admission for children aged 12 months and over. Children under 12 months are free. Tickets must be purchased online in advance and are limited. Two sessions are available\, each featuring pre-show entertainment\, a 4 Ingredients food competition\, live music from father-daughter duo Sophie and Dave\, and the Bluey and Bingo Live Interactive Experience\, where families can join in games of Magic Asparagus\, Magic Xylophone\, Keepy Uppy and more with their favourite Heeler duo. Local artists provide the soundtrack with live performances each week\, offering relaxed and groovy tunes that will have visitors dancing in and out of the stalls. \nThe fair features a colorful atmosphere perfect for a family day out\, with kids’ activities including a balloon artist\, roaming entertainment\, and themed occasions. DESCRIPTION:Miniature Railway Public Day – Nambour\nVisitors can enjoy a ride on the miniature railway in Nambour\, with trains powered by steam\, battery\, and petrol engines traveling nearly 1 km of track through the park.\nTrain rides are available every fourth Sunday of the month. \nVolunteers bring their own miniature locomotives to the track to allow the public to ride on the trains. The Club also owns steam and electric locomotives and many passenger carriages. \nDrinks and a sausage sizzle are available\, making it a great day out for little train enthusiasts.
