DESCRIPTION:Lightscape Brisbane 2024\nGet ready for an enchanting adventure as Lightscape\, the magical event that wowed everyone in 2023\, returns to Brisbane’s City Botanic Gardens! From Thursday\, 29 August to Saturday\, 12 October 2024\, this after-dark spectacle will transform the gardens into a glowing wonderland of lights\, colours\, and sounds. \nThis year’s Lightscape is even more exciting\, with brand-new light displays and installations by artists from around the world and right here in Queensland. Two special sculptures by Queensland First Nations artists Paul Bong (aka Bindur Bullin) and Michelle Yeatman will be featured\, making this event even more magical. \nAs you explore the 2km trail\, you’ll walk beneath colourful\, glowing tree canopies\, pass by giant\, glowing flowers\, and journey through vibrant light tunnels. It’s a multi-sensory experience that will dazzle visitors of all ages! \nThe adventure begins every evening at 5:45 pm\, with new groups starting every 15 minutes until late. You can take your time exploring the trail\, which usually takes around 90 minutes to complete. \nAlong the way\, you can grab a snack or a drink to keep you refreshed as you take in all the amazing sights.
