DESCRIPTION:Adopt-A-Reindeer Christmas Event\nBrisbane families\, you are invited to join us for our unique Christmas experiences at Lyell Deer Sanctuary\nNow in their sixth year\, these magical Christmas events delight\, surprise and warm the hearts of children (and their adults!)\, all for a great cause! \nWhat’s included:\n• Choose a gorgeous plush reindeer to adopt (nine quality and ethically-sourced toys to choose from this year)\n• Name your reindeer and register it with an official Lyell Deer Sanctuary adoption certificate and engraved name tag\n• Dress your reindeer with a cute bandana and sleigh bell\n• Visit the vet clinic with your reindeer for a checkup\, learn about their health and wellbeing\, and collect their special treatments\n• Have a mini photoshoot with your family and new deer friend (photos will be emailed after the event)\n• Make some special reindeer treats to take home and leave out on Christmas Eve (or just feed them to our deer!)\n• Decorate gingerbread reindeer to eat yourself!\n• And of course\, feed and cuddle our real-life rescue deer and other animals! \nExtra magic included:Before the event\, every child receives a physical letter in the mail from the deer (with photos and notes so they recognise familiar faces on their visit)\, plus a video message with guidelines and tips to prepare for the day. Throughout the event\, there will also be craft activities\, sensory play\, face painting and a chill-out space to unwind. \nCold drinks\, ice blocks and festive food for sale\, or bring your own for a picnic. \nThese events are designed for children aged 3 and up\, although it depends on the child and their sense of imagination and adventure! \nThese are our annual fundraising events to support the rescue\, rehabilitation and ongoing care for the gorgeous deer we look after at the Sanctuary. \nAdopt-A-Reindeer Christmas Event details\nWhen: December 17th; 10:30am – 12pm or 12:30pm – 2pm \nWhere: Lyell Deer Sanctuary\, 6 Lyell Court\, Mount Samson\, Queensland 4520 \nCost: $99 per child.
