DESCRIPTION:Ranger Stacey’s Joey Club\n\n\n\n\n\nFamilies are invited to join Ranger Stacey for a fun and interactive morning of discovery exploring wildlife and learning how to care for the natural environment. \nChildren can bellow like a koala\, stretch their wings like a bird and hop like a kangaroo before enjoying story time with Ranger Stacey. The experience continues with a guided walk along the bush trails\, encouraging little ones to use their senses to uncover the wonders of nature. \nThe program is designed for children aged 0 to 6 years\, and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets are required for both adults and children. Families are encouraged to come prepared with sun safe clothing\, a hat and a water bottle. \nSessions run for one hour each month until November. Recognised as the richest Clydesdale Show in the Southern Hemisphere\, this much-anticipated event celebrates all Clydesdales great and small – from tiny Shetland ponies to towering Shire horses. \nAcross the weekend\, the gentle giants of the horse world take centre stage as grand champions are judged\, rare trades are demonstrated\, and the breed’s rich history in Australia is honoured. Visitors can witness traditional skills like blacksmithing\, harness making\, and wheelwrighting\, along with horse-drawn demonstrations and impressive driving displays in the main arena. \nThe event also features a jam-packed program of entertainment including the Queensland Whip Cracking Championships\, World Billy Boiling Championships\, working dog demonstrations\, and elegant performances by the Friesian Horse Troupe. New in 2025\, the World Plaiting Titles will be held\, drawing top competitors from across Australia and beyond. \nIn a tribute to the region’s Scottish roots\, the weekend will also include a powerful massing of Pipes and Drums\, the Calling of the Clans\, a Clydesdale and Clan class\, and traditional caber tossing. DESCRIPTION:QSMEE – Pine Valley Miniature Railway Public Running Day\nVisitors and community groups are warmly invited to enjoy public running days at the track. As the track is located on private property\, tickets must be purchased in advance to help manage numbers and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable day for all. \nEnclosed footwear is required for everyone attending. Guests wishing to ride the trains must wear closed-toe shoes\, with open footwear such as thongs or sandals not permitted. \nOn-site facilities include a canteen serving tea\, coffee\, soft drinks and ice creams\, with a sausage sizzle available at lunchtime for those wanting a hot bite. \nAnimals are not permitted on the premises\, with the exception of assistance animals. \nEntry is $15.00 per person\, plus a 50 cent transaction fee.
