This exciting initiative features art-making experiences developed in collaboration with artists from across Asia and the Pacific\, encouraging young visitors to explore different cultural perspectives through creativity. \nNo bookings are required\, and all activities are free to attend. Redcliffe Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday\, 10am to 4pm. \nChildren can engage in activities such as designing intricate patterns inspired by Saudi Arabian and Palestinian artist Dana Awartani\, drawing imaginative monsters with Malaysian artist Harold Egn Eswar\, and reflecting on their dreams for the future through a project by Cambodian artist Yim Maline. DESCRIPTION:The Woodford Railway Heritage Train Rides\nSit in open air carriages and let the wind blow through your hair as you ride on a heritage train at the Woodford Railway. Friendly volunteers will greet you on the platform and help you board the train as well as share their are full of local knowledge and their passion for their beloved railway with you.  \nThe 15 minute journey allows you to sit back and breathe in the fresh country air and watch the horses in the paddocks as you drive by (alongside around 300 metres of housing development) \nThere is a small display room on the platform which you can wander around and learn more about the historical trains and carriages. There are also other long-standing carriages and tracks dotted around the grounds which are a reminder of a bygone era. \nTickets for the round-trip train ride can be purchased from the Ticket Office\, situated in the middle of the platform. Cold drinks and a variety of train books and memorabilia are available for purchase from the office. \n\nThe Woodford Railway Heritage Train Rides\nWhen: The Woodford Railway runs Heritage Train rides on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month. Rides starting at 10am and running until 3pm (generally stopping between 12:45 – 1.30pm for lunch). This second annual Brisbane event\, held over Mother’s Day weekend\, will feature an exciting mix of new artists\, emerging talent\, interactive exhibitions\, and live painting experiences. \nAmong the highlights is the Children’s Art Studio\, an immersive\, family-friendly space designed by Brisbane artist\, children’s author\, and mum\, Tenyka Jay. This interactive area\, set to appear at all three Australian fairs (QLD\, NSW\, VIC)\, will feature artist-designed colouring activities\, a seven-metre hand-painted mural\, free face painting\, and watercolour whales\, inspiring young minds to explore creativity through art and storytelling. \nThe 2025 Fair will also spotlight First Nations art\, featuring works from talented artists including Lauren Rogers (Ngarabul\, Torres Strait Islander)\, Nikita Newley (Wuthathi-Darumbal)\, Chloe Watego (Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi)\, and Nathan Rodgers-Falk (Ngemba\, Murrawarri\, Wiradjuri).
