Kids can pat a cow or hold a chicken. Visitors can admire homemade iced cakes\, handcrafted items\, and school projects\, then explore Side Show Alley and enjoy dodgem cars. Show bags are available\, along with food options like dagwood dogs\, fairy floss\, and donuts. Thrill-seekers can enjoy show rides and the wheelchair-friendly Ferris Wheel. \nIn the Show Saloon\, visitors can enjoy live music and food\, or relax on the family-friendly “Green” to watch evening entertainment while dining from the food court. The event ends with a fireworks and laser light show. DESCRIPTION:Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show 2026\nThe iconic Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show has been a much-loved community tradition since 1928 and will celebrate its 96th show in 2026. \nWhat began as a small Flower and Fete Show has grown into a fun-filled two-day event that’s perfect for kids and families. There’s something for everyone to enjoy\, with exciting horse events\, colourful arts and crafts\, cute animals in the poultry and livestock displays\, woodchopping action\, farrier demonstrations\, working dogs\, live music\, showbags and rides for thrill seekers of all ages. \nThe fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. The night program is packed with entertainment\, including the famous Horse vs Bike race and the Young Farmers Challenge\, where teams race to complete hilarious farm-themed activities like digging up potatoes or lassoing pretend chickens. The evening ends with live music and a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the sky. \nFamilies can also take a step back in time with heritage displays of farming equipment\, traditional crafts like knitting and quilting\, and delicious homemade jams and chutneys to taste. DESCRIPTION:Miniature Railway Public Day – Nambour\nVisitors can enjoy a ride on the miniature railway in Nambour\, with trains powered by steam\, battery\, and petrol engines traveling nearly 1 km of track through the park.\nTrain rides are available every fourth Sunday of the month. \nVolunteers bring their own miniature locomotives to the track to allow the public to ride on the trains. The Club also owns steam and electric locomotives and many passenger carriages. \nDrinks and a sausage sizzle are available\, making it a great day out for little train enthusiasts.
