Because of its infinite possibilities\, art is an excellent way to learn about ourselves and the places we live in. \nCome along and meet a few artists from the City of Moreton Bay’s Art Collection. Through their artworks and our free activities\, you will learn about the artist’s homes\, families\, and communities. \nThis family-friendly exhibition will have you thinking about art and why artists create in a whole new way. \nThe exhibition can be view during gallery opening times\, Tuesday to Saturday\, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. DESCRIPTION:Skate and Clay into Resilience – Sunshine Coast\nJoin the community on Friday\, 27th September\, during the school holidays for an exciting day of learning new skills and making connections. \nChiggy will be leading workshops focused on skateboarding skills that can be applied beyond the sport itself. Participants can sign up for lessons upon arrival\, with a form to be filled out on-site. \nTess Miller will be hosting the Clay Club\, offering a relaxing space for creativity where participants can engage in hands-on clay activities. The Clay Club will run in multiple sessions throughout the day\, with sign-ups available on a first-come\, first-served basis for up to 20 people per session. \nA free sausage sizzle will be available between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. \nParental or carer supervision required. \nSkate and Clay into Resilience – Sunshine Coast\nWhen: Friday 27th September\, from 10am.
