Local families can enjoy live music\, traditional performances\, hands-on lantern making\, and a stunning twilight lantern parade. Presented by MCCGC for Multicultural Month\, this free community event offers a wonderful\, welcoming evening by the water for all ages. \nLuminous in the Regions – Gold Coast 2026\n\nLuminous in the Regions returns to the Gold Coast for 2026\, bringing communities together to light up the sky with spectacular handmade lanterns in a celebration of culture\, community\, and belonging. \nPresented by MCCGC during Multicultural Month\, the festival unites diverse cultures through music\, performances\, lantern making\, and cultural expression\, creating a welcoming space for new Queenslanders and celebrating the rich diversity that makes the Gold Coast so special. The highlight of the evening is a powerful lantern parade\, where communities come together in a shared spirit of unity and acceptance. \nCommunity groups are warmly invited to be part of this beautiful celebration\, whether by participating in the lantern parade or presenting a cultural performance.
