Enjoy a welcoming outdoor experience complete with snacks\, connecting with other local residents while caring for a beloved neighborhood park. \nNew Farm Park Clean Up for World Environment Day\nCelebrate World Environment Day with a hands-on\, family-friendly morning of community action at New Farm Park. \nLeaf Your Mark: The Ultimate Eco-Party! invites Brisbane families to swap the screen for some green and help give one of our much-loved local parks a little extra care. Families will meet near the Dendy Powerhouse Cinema area before heading out in small groups for a relaxed community clean-up around New Farm Park and surrounding areas. \nThis is a fun and welcoming way for children to learn about caring for the environment\, sustainability\, and looking after the shared spaces we all enjoy. After the clean-up\, everyone will come back together for snacks\, connection time\, and a gentle conversation about why environmental conservation matters for future generations. This event is suitable for families\, children\, friends\, and community members who want to do something positive for the planet while enjoying a morning outdoors. \nThe event is jointly organised by Parents for Climate\, Serve the City\, and People Planet Brisbane. \nWhat’s provided: rubbish bags\, gloves\, litter pickers\, a sharps container\, group coordination\, snacks\, and a warm community atmosphere. \nWhat to bring: hat\, sunscreen\, water bottle\, comfortable closed walking shoes\, kids\, friends\, family\, and community spirit. \nPlan your visit\nWhen: Saturday 13th June 2026\, 10:30am to 1pm \nWhere: New Farm Park\, 1042 Brunswick Street\, New Farm.\nMeeting point: Dendy Powerhouse Cinema area.
