DESCRIPTION:Moorooka Giant Playdate\nThe Moorooka Giant Playdate is a free afternoon of fun\, music\, and connection for the whole family. This community event offers a welcoming space to gather\, create\, and celebrate together\, with activities and entertainment for all ages. \nFamilies can enjoy arts and crafts\, including a colouring competition\, as well as table tennis\, lawn games\, and face painting. Live music will feature popular songs for kids\, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. A free BBQ will be available\, catering to various dietary needs with vegan\, gluten-free\, and halal options. \nIn addition to the festivities\, a discussion on “Building an Inclusive Future for All Our Families” will invite the community to explore ways to create spaces where every child can thrive. \nThe event will take place both indoors and outdoors at the Fleurs Street Social Exchange. Indoor areas are fully accessible\, with an accessible toilet available. Outdoor spaces include footpaths\, paved areas\, and a designated disabled parking space with a drop-off point. A low-sensory room will be provided\, and indoor spaces will have good airflow\, with HEPA filters in use. \nMore than just a day of activities\, the Moorooka Giant Playdate is an opportunity to connect with neighbours and imagine a future where everyone belongs.
