DESCRIPTION:Free Morning Tea and Play Reading\nWelcome Morning Tea – Small Crown Productions & PIP Theatre\nSmall Crown Productions and PIP Theatre are hosting a free morning tea to kick off the new year of children’s theatre!\nOn 14 March\, they’re welcoming families to a free Welcome Morning Tea at PIP Theatre\, where guests can experience a staged reading of Detective Grimm: The Spell of Stealing\, a great way to get a feel for whether the show is right for your kids or grandkids. Guests will also have the chance to meet and greet the cast and hear about the plans for children’s theatre for the rest of the year.\nIt’s a relaxed\, informal opportunity to get a sense of the show before it hits the stage and get to know the team behind it. Bookings are essential as there are only 50 spaces available\, so guests are encouraged to book early and bring a friend! \nAbout the Play\nInspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm\, this fast-paced action comedy will have audiences guessing all the way to the end.\nNewly appointed Detective Grimm is thrust into a case unlike any she has faced before. When a mysterious green flash ignites the sky of Stonewood\, valuables begin vanishing without a trace. Coins disappear from tills\, gems vanish from safes\, and cherished personal belongings start slipping out of existence.\nAs money runs dry\, the magic begins taking more and more until every life in Stonewood is at risk. With her sharp-witted assistant Barclay by her side\, Grimm must discover the truth of the spell and its caster before things spiral beyond control.
