Families and friends are invited to bring a picnic blanket and settle in on the sand for a movie under the stars\, with a spectacular fireworks display over the ocean at 8pm. \nThe best part? The movie doesn’t end when the fireworks begin. There’ll be a short intermission to enjoy the fireworks over the ocean\, before settling back in to finish the movie. \nTake a picnic blanket or low-backed chair\, grab some takeaway and make a night of it. Families and friends can bring a picnic or grab something from the food options in the local area. \nThe movie is Elf (PG\, 97 minutes).\nBuddy\, a human raised among elves at the North Pole\, discovers he is not an elf and travels to New York to search for his biological father. \nThe event is brought to the Division 10 community by Cr Darren Taylor. \nIf the weather is uncertain\, updates are available on the event’s Facebook page.
