DESCRIPTION:Brisbane Open House \n\n\n\n\n\nBrisbane Open Hose will be held on the 13 & 14 July and in the 2024 program\, they are doing things a little differently this year! \nBelow are the focal points for this year’s weekend: \n\nThe program will be geo-focused. This means that\, predominantly\, the program will be focused in inner-Brisbane. This is to provide audiences with easy access to as many Open House buildings as possible.\nThie year\, the wonderful Villages of Brisbane will be integrated into the weekend program and this year the village will be New Farm. Open House will be working closely with the New Farm & Districts Historical Society\, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.\nThere will be two key hubs in the program: Thomas Dixon Centre – Queensland Ballet in West End and Brisbane Powerhouse – New Farmy.\nOn Sunday\, 14 July\, join a full-day Speaker Series at the Brisbane Powerhouse.\nThere will be a range of Tours + Talks running throughout the weekend.\nJoin a number of free guided walks across the weekend.\nThere will also be many Workshops + Activities + more in various locations.\n\nLocations will include:  \n\nRoma Street Fire Station\nGovernment House\nOld Government House \nABC\nSpring Hill Windmill and Reservoirs\nThe Moreton Club\nMiss Midgley’s\nSvitzer’s tug base\nSt John’s Cathedral\nWolsten Farmhouse \nand many more.\n\nFree kids activities at the Powerhouse Base will include: \n\ncollage\nLego city building \n\nPlease note that some venues require bookings.  \nBrisbane Open House \nWhen: 13 & 14 July \nWhere: various Brisbane landmarks \nCost: Free- please note that some tours and activities require bookings. \nMore information: https://brisbaneopenhouse.com.au/ \n  \n  \n!
