The largest exhibition event in the Moreton Bay area, the Pine Rivers Show, is ready for its biggest year ever in 2018. This show with a proud tradition in farming, good value family entertainment and bringing people together will run over 3 days starting on Friday 3rd August and concluding on Sunday the 5th August.

Celebrating its 145th year in 2018, The Pine Rivers Show will again take place at the Pine Rivers A H & I Association Showgrounds in Lawton. This year’s program is bigger and better than ever jammed packed full of exciting fun events and entertainment to ensure the whole family has a great day out! From traditional displays like farm animals, the Grande Parade and dog show to the more modern Flair Action Sports, Big Top Entertainment and FMX Kaos Motorcross families will be entertained and thrilled every day of the Pine Rivers Show.
On top of the full calendar of events and entertainment, the Pine Rivers Show also includes all of the traditional show favourites, including a side-show alley, showbags, dagwood dogs, rides, roving performers, a delicious food court, the Club Pine Rivers Train (a free of charge way to get your Brisbane Kids around the showgrounds) and a fireworks spectacular.
Animals at the Pine Rivers Show in 2018
Brisbane Kids will marvel at being so near to farm animals on display as part of the competitive categories, which include poultry, sheep, horses and beef cattle. The Gekoes Wildlife Presentation is sure to please Brisbane Kids, as they host amazing Australian animals including snakes, crocodiles, frogs, possums, owls, lizards and quolls while White Ridge Farm will also have a setup for visitors to pat baby animals such as goats, ducks, mini pigs, alpacas and even a couple of miniature horses. Not to be missed will be Noah’s Racing Pigs where the gorgeous pigs race through obstacles to be the first pig to cross the finish line (please note : no pigs are hurt or put under any duress during the races)
The Pine Rivers Show Daily Live Entertainment Program
Everyday throughout the Show, Brisbane Kids and their families can enjoy family friendly enetertainment. While the entire 2018 program is yet to be confirmed, currently we know that Brisbane Kids can also enjoy free laser tag, Johnny the Jester, a rock climbing wall and the amazing crew from Street Science who will present their seriously fun science show on Saturday and Sunday at Centre Stage.
In 2017, Everyday throughout the Show, Brisbane Kids and their families could visit the Big Top where the all new circus spectacular presents live entertainment, circus workshops and roving performers. Also add to your list to catch the Geckoes Wildlife Presentation and the Bush Galah Aussie Show that will be performing twice daily on Centre Stage wowing the audience with juggling, magic and unicycle riding. Be sure to keep an eye and ear out for the talented Joseph the African Drummer and from Australia’s Got Talent, the one and only Flair Action Sports with Jack Feild who will leave the crowds cheering for more.
The Pine Rivers Show Night Time Program
The nightly shows are the perfect way to end a day at the Pine Rivers Show. On both Friday and Saturday nights, be sure to check the awesome Fireworks Extravaganza displays, illuminating the Lawnton skies with a rainbow of colour and lots of sparkle.
While the remainder of the 2018 night program is yet to be finalized, in 2017, everyone was entertained by the FMX Kaos Motorcycles show, where famous stunts-people from Crusty Demons and Nitro Circus perform crazy stunts in the air above BMX riders performing stunts on the ground.

The Pine Rivers Show Ticket Prices 2018
One of the best things about the Pine Rivers Show, especially for families of Brisbane Kids, is that the ticket costs are very economical. This means that even large Brisbane families can afford to take their entire brood without breaking the bank. Tickets are available to purchase at the show gates.
- $15 per Adult
- $10 per government pensioner
- $10 per high school student
- FREE for primary aged students and under
