DESCRIPTION:Sea World Foundation Ocean Clean Up Community Event\nThe Sea World Foundation Ocean Clean Up Community Event invites volunteers to help protect local marine ecosystems through a large-scale clean-up both on land and underwater. Gold Coast ocean lovers are encouraged to get involved\, whether by diving beneath the surface to remove debris or by collecting litter along the shoreline. \nLand volunteers will be provided with debris bags\, tongs and gloves\, though participants are welcome to bring their own equipment. This role is suitable for all ages\, with volunteers under 18 requiring adult supervision. \nCertified divers can participate as dive volunteers\, using their own equipment to help collect underwater litter. Marine debris bags will be provided\, and dive volunteers will receive complimentary tank refills for the event\, courtesy of Adreno Gold Coast and Gold Coast Dive Centre. \nAfter the clean-up\, volunteers can enjoy a free barbecue\, live music\, eco-activities and prizes at this family-friendly celebration.
