DESCRIPTION:Yield exhibition @ Caboolture Regional Art Gallery\nYield at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery invites visitors of all ages to explore Australia’s agricultural history through contemporary artworks by local\, national and international artists. Inspired by the legacy of Dr Joseph Bancroft and early agricultural practices\, the exhibition encourages families to reflect on how the land’s past continues to shape the present. Daily highlights tours\, artist discussions and hands-on workshops offer plenty of ways for visitors to connect more deeply with the themes. \nA wide range of interactive experiences makes Yield especially engaging for children\, teens and adults alike. Drop-in activities and the return of the popular Art Investigator kids’ trail invite young visitors to hunt for artworks and earn a sticker prize. Throughout the exhibition\, the Creative Space evolves with new installations and activities designed by artists\, helping families learn about the local environment through play\, making and discovery. \nCreative Spaces include: \nTracing the edges (20 September – 29 November)Visitors can experiment with layering and tracing to create unique artworks while learning about native flora and fauna on Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country. \nStories from Country – Screening Room (20 September – 29 November)Families can sit and enjoy short films sharing traditional practices and culture from the Local Aboriginal Languages Project. \nThe Greenhouse (5 December 2025 – 24 January 2026)A creative installation inspired by seeds and agricultural ecosystems\, designed by artist Elizabeth Willing. DESCRIPTION:Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery\nChildren and families can enjoy a range of hands-on\, creative activities at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery as part of the free Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour program\, presented by Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). This engaging program features art-making experiences developed in collaboration with artists from across Asia and the Pacific\, offering young visitors a chance to explore diverse cultural perspectives through creativity. \nNo bookings are required\, and all activities are free to attend. Caboolture Regional Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday\, 10am  to 4pm. \nChildren can take part in activities such as creating intricate patterns inspired by Saudi Arabian and Palestinian artist Dana Awartani\, designing imaginative monsters with Malaysian artist Harold Egn Eswar\, and illustrating their dreams for the future with Cambodian artist Yim Maline. They can also contribute to an evolving landscape shaped by elements of nature in an activity developed by Indian artist Rithika Merchant and explore traditional Māori patterns through the work of Aotearoa New Zealand artist Brett Graham. \nAPT11 Kids on Tour is a free QAGOMA Touring program\, made possible with generous support from the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation\, bringing interactive art experiences to regional Queensland communities. \nAsia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery\nWhen: Saturday 5 April – 21st April\, 10am – 4pm. DESCRIPTION:Kids symbols workshop with Zartisha Davis\nJoin First Nations artist Zartisha Davis to learn about mark-making techniques and how symbols are used to create and share personal stories. \nIn this workshop children will create their own unique story on a canvas while exploring the artistic process. \nAbout the artist\nZartisha Davis was born in Nambour (1990)\, a Kabi Kabi woman descending from the Mooloolaba Chilly family\, of the Mooloolah and Meridan Plains people. Her songlines also include belonging to the Cobble Cobble people of the Burrungam Nation also known as the caretakers of Bonyi (Bunya Mountains) and on her fathers side belonging to the Butchulla (Badtjala) people from K’Gari (Fraser Island). \nHer passion for art is one that is prominent in her family coming from a long line of artists and song men and women.
