The Top 10 Desert Places in Brisbane are in no particular order determined by a very casual nomination process through social media
1. Gelateria Cremona at Rosalie
This lovely Geletaria is famous for its lovely Gelati made fresh daily for your yummy enjoyment. They have an amazing array of flavours including Ferrero Rocher with actual chunks for Ferrero inside! (151 Baroona Rd, Rosalie)
2. Cold rock
Special mentions include Calamvale and Rosalie. Cold Rock is most well known for its capacity to take wonderful icecream and smash it together will all other sorts of goodies like caremello koalas or gummi bears. 3. Baskin & Robbins
Special mentions included Albany Creek and Bulimba. Baskin and Robbins offer a variety of the most beautiful icecream flavours. 4. Smash in Bulimba.
We understand this to be very similar to cold rock. Unit 3, 147 Oxford St Bulimba.
5. Haus muffins in Hawthorne
A cafe style atmosphere, with a menu of variety. Great coffee and cake destination. Unit 1/286 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne
6. Max Brenner at South Bank
Chocolate heaven on earth.. decadence beyond belief.. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the amount of chocolate on offer at Max Brenners. Chocolate waffles for breakfast? Why Not?? with a Mexican hot chocolate SURE! honestly if you love chocolate and you havent been to Max Brenners- then GO NOW! but be warned that they are super popular and despite the ample sitting room as well as helpful and plentiful staff, long lines are common place. 7.Freestyle Tout Valley or West End store
Freestyle treats the desert as a main meal so expect an array of over the top delicious sundaes and deserts with a variety of the yummiest combinations you will find on earth. AMAZING! Head to their website for details.
8. Mud at Bulimba
Mud is a desert bar.. gosh it sounds good already.. Breakfast, lunch and dinner- plus they have delicious meals on their menu that aren’t strictly deserts- Which we like. It’s like the best of both worlds and means that you can have your Brisbane Kids eat a normal meal first and then be treated by the lovely deserts on offer. 9. Jeppo Gelato in Cleveland
Jeppo Gelato prides themselves on their Gelato that are made on the premises and are all natural. You should feel little guilt when treating your Brisbane Kids with these delicious servings. All sorbets are 100% fat free, gluten free and counts towards your daily fruit serving- Yummy!!! with 20 flavours on offer- Well worth a visit. Head to their facebook page for more details.
10. Trampoline Gelato at Indooroopilly
A brand new icecream shop at Indooroopilly we dont know that much about it except that there are a delicious array of traditional and new flavours (think tiramasu) on offer. Located in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Level 3. Perfect ending to some grocery shopping with your Brisbane Kids.

Milanys in Hamilton
Last BUT NOT LEAST! Firstly their website shows all sorts impressive awards.. and so not knowing there even were awards- we are impressed! Milany’s was nominated several times by Brisbane Mums and Dads so this place must be good. Their website shows an array of yummy deserts from the decadent banana split and death by chocolate to the little odd spaghetti carbonara, complete with spaghetti!
French twist at Indooroopilly shopping centre
Visit for their gorgeous breads and pastries, slices and cakes. Especially their vanilla slice! Lvl 1 107 Westfield Shopngtown Moggill Road, Kiosk 107, Indooroopilly Shopping Ctr, Indooroopilly, QLD, 4068
