Bracken Ridge Lion’s Train Day

Bracken Ridge Lions Train Day runs on the fourth Sunday of every month at McPherson Park, Bracken Ridge, offering a fun and affordable outing for families.

Miniature steam and electric trains operate from 9.00am to 1.00pm, with rides costing $2 each or $15 for 10 rides.

The railway is proudly run by the Bracken Ridge Central Lions Club, with all proceeds supporting community causes. Funds raised are reinvested locally and have supported a wide range of charities and initiatives, including Lions Assistance Dogs, Sailability Shorncliffe, kids’ cancer research, Cancer Foundation, Redcliffe Hospital fundraising, Share the Dignity, and many other community programs.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly event and a great way to support the local community while enjoying a classic train ride experience.
