Epilepsy Queensland: Make March Purple 2025
Join Epilepsy Queensland and organisations across Australia as they turn the country purple throughout March in support of the 65 million people worldwide living with epilepsy.
Make March Purple is an Australia-wide campaign supported by epilepsy organisations nationwide, aiming to raise awareness and support for the 280 Australians diagnosed with epilepsy every week.
March 26 is World Purple Day, an international day of awareness for people impacted by epilepsy.
Throughout March, you can get involved in various ways:
- Host your own event at home, school, or work.
- Set yourself a personal challenge.
- Share your purple and share your story with the world.
- Illuminate Purple: During March, iconic landmarks worldwide will light up PURPLE. Let Epilepsy Queensland know if you have a tree, a building, or even a windmill you can light up purple.
Thousands of Australians have had their lives turned upside down by epilepsy. While it’s not always possible to stop the seizures, we can all help end the stigma.
‘Make March Purple’ this Purple Day on 26th March!
