Holiday Program: Nature Photography – Sunshine Coast
Celebrate winter at Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden – by learning how to take amazing nature photographs, with Spencer Hitchen.
Spencer started World Stand UP 4 Nature Day in 2023 to inspire people around the world and to showcase all of the amazing people who are standing up for our last wild places. He also founded Save Sunrise Glossies and has been an untiring advocate for locally threatened species. Spencer has used his passion for nature photography in both these initiatives and is keen to share with other young people, how they too can use a camera to capture our beautiful and unique environment.
In conjunction with the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Ageing Well program, this workshop will include intergenerational opportunities for young people to share their skills and tech insights with older participants. More information will be sent to registrants.
Suitable for children aged: 10+yrs
If you have a camera or photography equipment, please bring it along.
