The Gold Coast Whale Festival returns in 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the majestic whales that migrate through Gold Coast Bay and how everyone can play a part in protecting marine life.
Visitors will have the chance to hear from leading researchers as they share insights into the local marine ecosystem, including sharks, turtles, whales, dolphins, and dugongs. A variety of stalls and exhibits will showcase marine and coastal sustainability initiatives, while science talks and guest speakers will provide fascinating discussions on ocean conservation.
Organised by Humpbacks and Highrises, a Citizen Science NGO, this event is a wonderful way to connect with nature, support marine conservation, and celebrate the incredible wildlife of the Gold Coast.
