2024 Paris Olympics LIVE site – Gold Coast
Fun sporting activities for kids, special guest appearances, and a live showing of the 2024 Paris Olympics to cheer on Australian athletes will be featured. Attendees are encouraged to don their green and gold, bring a warm blanket, and get ready to support Queensland and Australian athletes together.
The schedule for Olympics Live is as follows: On Saturday, 27th July, from 10 am to 9 pm, and on Sunday, 28th July, from 10 am to 6 pm. A replay of the Opening Ceremony will be shown at 4 pm, followed by the very first Basketball game for the Australian Boomers at 7 pm. Gold Coast Basketball coaches and players will host demonstrations and skills training on Saturday from 3 pm to 5 pm.
At the Great Lawn, visitors can enjoy delicious food trucks, kids’ sporting activations, beach volleyball, Sparky Do Dah, table tennis on the lawn, 1st Fives rugby inflatables, and Bubble Play on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. These live and free events are proudly presented by the Queensland Government in partnership with the City of Gold Coast, inviting families, friends, and teammates to gather and celebrate together.
