A self-portrait is typically an image or artwork where the creator depicts their own image. But does a self-portrait have to look exactly like the viewer to represent them?
Claire Ritchie from Pick me often creates self-portraits as flowers. She uses petals, stems, leaves, colour, and more to create personality, feelings, or emotions in her flower self-portraits.
In this workshop, young artists will consider representing themselves but not as they look like. Instead, we look inward and reflect on who we are outside of appearance. Paint yourself as a flower in this extra-special school holiday program.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 to 14 years, Bookings required.
