
UQ Moreton Bay Research Station and Study Centre Open Day – Stradbroke Island
Each year, the institution opens its doors to the public, offering an opportunity to meet the academic and support staff who are at the heart of its mission. Visitors are invited to learn about the impactful work being done and discover ways they can become involved.
Open Day is an interactive experience for all ages, showcasing science in action through a variety of engaging activities. These include equipment demonstrations, Moreton Bay discovery cruises, traditional knowledge-sharing sessions, animal shows, art workshops, and research seminars. It’s a day designed to inspire curiosity and provide a glimpse into the fascinating world of research and education.
