FLAME BBQ & Music Festival 2026

The big country day out is back on at Jimboomba this September 19th with a huge range of entertainment, great food and a relaxed, festival atmosphere to be enjoyed by all ages.

We’re talking gourmet BBQ galore with some of the region’s best BBQ specialists, boot-stomping music all afternoon, bar and beer garden, market stalls, fun rides where under 18s ride for free, line dancing, eating competitions and even a vintage car display, plus much more.

And the best part? This big country day out starts at just $40 for two adults and all the kids. Get in early, with ticket prices increasing on event day. Under 18s receive free entry and free rides all day.

Here is a taste of what’s on at Jimboomba Park on Saturday 19 September:

4+ HOURS OF LIVE MUSIC

  • The Wet Whistles, a Brissy-born, pub-tested four-piece country band earning a loyal following across Australia
  • Rising country star and local legend Jake Whittaker, known for his great stint on Australian Idol
  • Everyone’s favourite country DJ, Dee Jaye Bux
  • Matthew Barnes
  • Natalie Pearson
  • Maddie Collins

BEST OF THE WURST EATING COMPETITION

Step up to the Best of the Wurst Hot Dog Eating Challenge, with amateur and professional divisions battling it out for a share of almost $2,000 in prize money. Competition entry is an optional add-on to your festival ticket and spots are strictly limited.
