Olympic and Paralympic teams Welcome Home Celebration – Sunshine Coast
The region is ready to give its returning Olympic and Paralympic athletes a welcome home to remember! The official athletes’ celebration will take place at Foundation Square Park, next to City Hall in Maroochydore.
Families are invited to bring the kids and join in the excitement, cheering on the athletes as they arrive and take to the stage. Local Olympian Duncan Armstrong will lead the welcome home ceremony, making it a memorable event for all.
After the ceremony, families will have the opportunity to meet and greet their local heroes and enjoy a free BBQ, courtesy of the Mooloolaba Lions Club.
