Nurture Festival 2025 – Sunshine Coast
Nurture Festival 2025 is returning to the Sunshine Coast and promises to be the biggest celebration yet. This free, family-friendly event is dedicated to youth mental wellness, bringing the community together with a focus on adventure, creativity, and connection.
Set along the Mooloolaba Foreshore, the festival offers something for everyone – from music and inspiring discussions to hands-on activities and beachside fun. Highlights include outrigger canoeing, live performances from the Eumundi School of Music, youth speakers and panels, immersive experiences, an epic obstacle course, and plenty more surprises still to be revealed.
Open to all ages, the event is drug and alcohol free, community-led, and centred on celebrating the importance of supporting young people to thrive. Nurture Festival is a day to connect, smile, and celebrate – because when young people are nurtured, so is the future.
Festival Highlights Include:
- Outrigger Canoeing: For those seeking an adventure on the water, outrigger canoeing provides an opportunity to build teamwork skills while enjoying the stunning Sunshine Coast waterways.
- Buskers from Eumundi School of Music: The festival will be alive with music, thanks to talented young buskers from the Eumundi School of Music, showcasing the rich musical talent within our community.
- Panels and Local Speakers: In addition to the activities, Nurture Festival 2025 will feature a series of insightful panels and talks from local speakers. These sessions will cover a range of topics aimed at empowering teens & parents with tools for mental wellness, resilience, and self-expression. Speaker announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
